Job Description
The Spitz Group is looking for a reliable, professional and responsible Driver to assist various departments with daily driving errands, deliveries and general office support.
The successful candidate will ensure the safe transportation and timely delivery of items while helping maintain efficient office operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12).
- Valid Code 10 driver’s licence.
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).
- At least 3 years of corporate driving experience.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, courteous and safety-conscious driving attitude.
Key Responsibilities
1. Driving Duties
- Carry out driving errands for various Spitz departments.
- Drive safely, professionally and courteously.
- Ensure timely transportation and delivery of items.
2. Office Consumables
- Monitor office consumables and replenish supplies daily or weekly.
- Ensure items such as milk, paper, bottled water and groceries are available.
3. Mail and Courier Deliveries
- Distribute incoming mail, parcels and courier items to the relevant departments.
- Liaise with Reception and the Shipping Department to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
4. General Office Assistance
- Assist with setting up functions, staff sales and office events.
- Provide general support to departments when required.
5. Vehicle Management
- Maintain the company vehicle in good condition.
- Monitor fuel usage and manage the fuel card.
- Arrange servicing and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Take responsibility for vehicle care and report any issues or fines.
