Job Description
Hyundai Automotive South Africa is seeking a reliable and organised Picker/Packer to join its Parts Distribution Centre in Germiston. The successful candidate will assist with picking, packing, scanning and delivering automotive parts while maintaining accurate stock records and supporting efficient warehouse operations.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent qualification.
- Computer literacy.
- 0–1 year of experience in a warehouse, parts, logistics or similar environment.
- Knowledge of automotive parts and accessories will be an advantage.
- Good planning, organising and communication skills.
- Ability to work accurately and meet productivity targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack and deliver parts to designated areas.
- Scan stock and allocate items to the correct warehouse locations.
- Conduct cycle counts and check stock levels using system-generated reports.
- Report stock discrepancies to the relevant supervisor.
- Re-bin stock according to system-generated movement information.
- Organise daily tasks to meet productivity and performance targets.
- Resolve routine warehouse issues and escalate complex problems.
- Provide feedback on completed tasks and operational challenges.
- Maintain accurate stock control and support efficient warehouse operations.
- Deliver good customer service and follow standard operating procedures.
- Participate in training and development activities.
- Uphold Hyundai’s values, policies and ethical standards.
