Job Description
RCL FOODS has a requirement for a General Worker to join our Group Division. The role will be based in Boksburg and report to the Supervisor.
The purpose of this role is to merchandise the store correctly, ensure the cleanliness of the store and facilitate excellent customer service at the store level.
Minimum Requirements
Matric
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
Bilingual candidates will be preferred
Duties & Responsibilities
MERCHANDISING AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
Offload the delivery truck and allocate stock as per the Outlet Controller’s instructions
Ensure shelves are correctly and neatly packed with products as per store merchandising standards
Ensure correct prices reflect and or are displayed correctly
Adhering to our Health and Safety Standards, in terms of the Shelf Life of products
Ensure stock is rotated according to stock merchandising standards – First in First Out
Advise customers of Store Specials, Promotions, and Prices
Remove damaged stock from all shelves when necessary and inform the Outlet Controller
Assist with customer queries or requests at the in-store floor level
Advise Outlet Controller on customer queries regarding stock or stock levels
Where relevant, assist with pulling of stock as per Staff Account orders on the day of delivery
HOUSE-KEEPING
Ensure premises remain clean and presentable
Monitor freezer temperature levels and advise the Outlet Controller of any potential problems to ensure resolutions are taken swiftly
