Requirements :
A Minimum of Grade 10 or equivalent qualification. Basic writing skills, communication skills, good people skills, client orientation, and customer focus. A minimum of two (02) years of exposure to public service health will be an added advantage. Be able to work shifts (nights, Sundays, and public holidays).
Duties :
Transportation of patients from registration service points to different clinical areas within the Hospital. Accompany walking patients both mobile and immobile per wheelchair or stretcher trolley from reception to the wards, inter wards, theatre, and various treatment centers. Give routes direction or accompany visitors to various destinations within the Hospital. Assist with loading patients in and out of ambulances and private vehicles. Render assistance to Nursing staff with the transfer of patients to beds/ stretchers. Transport corpses from the wards to the mortuary daily and clean the wheelchairs and other portering equipment after usage. Take lawful instructions from Manager or Supervisor.
