Job Description
General Warehouse
Maintaining storage area by organizing floor space; adhering to storage design principles and recommending improvements.
Maintaining inventory by updating the Warehouse logistics system on a daily basis as goods are received or dispatched; reconciling variances and escalating them
Securing the warehouse by turning alarms on and testing systems.
Wearing necessary safety equipment when on duty.
Ensure all boxes are cleared from the floor, and receiving area, and stock is moved to allocated bins before closing the warehouse daily
Dry run areas were managed and cleared.
Ensure the outside warehouse is clean before the closing warehouse.
Any campaign stock leaving the warehouse is clean and in good order prior to dispatch
Conduct a weekly floor walk
with clear stock counts checks that match the logistics system.

· Ensuring stock is checked and properly counted when received.
· Check delivery notes to ensure it corresponds with PO’s and Supplier documentation.
· Record and communicate damages to manager and Client Services within 1 hour of receipt.
· Picking slips are correctly picked and documented on the Logistics Warehouse system
· Record and escalate discrepancies to management.
· Record asset requisitions.
· Courier requirement slips are picked, packed, and documented.
· Return slips are checked, signed, and documented.
· Courier returns are checked, recorded and discrepancies escalated.
· Capture damages or non-returns on the Warehouse system.
Qualifications
Matric
Previous warehouse packer experience is an advantage
